Alley Taproom is the first of its kind to be dedicated to featuring an entirely local Arizona beer and wine menu, with gourmet snacks sourced from the farmers' markets and all of our sangrias and wine cocktails made with fresh pressed juices and herbs from our own garden. Our interior features stunning murals painted by local artists and unique design elements, created to make you feel as though you're sitting inside an art exhibit.
About Us
Lea is a true southern girl, raised in her formative years between Mississippi and Tennessee. She spent her entire life enthralled in the entertainment world, growing up as a competitive dancer and landing her first professional dance gig when she was 16 years old. After three years at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Lea left for Las Vegas to pursue her career more seriously, where she worked as a dancer, acrobat and aerial artist. After many years in entertainment, Lea began planning special events and transitioned into the hospitality industry, where she has worked for the last 12 years.
Kristi is from Baltimore, Maryland, a place she swears has the only edible crab cakes in the world. She began bussing tables at a local restaurant at the age of 14 and by 18, was in culinary school. She eventually moved to Los Angeles where she landed jobs working for El Segundo Brewery, Standard Station Sports Bar and Jame Entoteca.
Lea and Kristi met while Lea was promoting the Beach Life Music Festival and a booming friendship was born.
CUE 2020 PANDEMIC
After losing five jobs between them due to Covid, Lea, who was already planning a move to Phoenix to be closer to family and dreaming of her own business, took the time off work to research, plan and develop a business idea.
Kristi was inspired by the graffiti art she saw while traveling across Germany, and when Lea conveyed her concept of an art centric space with adult beverages, the name “Alley” was born.
